February 17th, 2010 - Waiting on Crescent's Kids

Posted by Becky Walton on February 17, 2010 at 10:47 AM

It was another long night last night.  Not as long as the one before though...I got smart (finally) and put my baby monitor in the goat shed to listen for signs that Crescent might be in labor.  The monitor works great...I can even hear the goats eating...but no labor noises!

We have 18-20" of snow...most which has fallen in the past 24 hours.  Our schools have been closed all but 3-1/2 days the past 2 weeks, and EVERYONE is getting cabin fever.  The 2-legged kids need to be out, the animals are cranky from being confined to their shelters, and I need this goat to kid so I can move on to the other 3 that are due!

Make sure to check back...I hope to be updating the site with new baby pics soon!
